Elizabeth Betsy Ward, and possibly 3. Lucy Rogers. He was born September 18, 1740 in Charlotteville, Albemarle Co, VA, and died December 18, 1808 in Martinsville, Henry Co, VA. The person that I think that you are asking about is Joseph Martin was born 1820, son of John Martin. He married Julia Lombard. I don't know the lineage here, but it may be that John Martin was a descendent of the Gen. Joseph Lynch Martin. I believe that this family lived in Indian Territory, but I'm not sure of that.
