Someone recently asked about the delegates to the 1861 Arkansas Secession Convention, saying they couldn't find it anywhere on the web. So I thought I'd post it here, in case anyone else is interested. A couple of remarks -- Isaac Murphy, delegate from Madison County, cast the only dissenting vote on secession. There was no delegate from Craighead County. Thirty of the delegates served in a military capacity during the war (home guards and Confederate regiments). ### 1861 Arkansas Secession Convention.
