Trying to track down a couple of soldiers

I am seeking information on three Arkansas soldiers:

1) Has anyone heard of a Captain Jap. or Jep. Stansell?

2) Is anyone aware of a man named Love who was trying to raise some kind of a company in Clark County in late 1861 or early 1862?

3) Does anyone have information on a Lt. D. Ward from the First Arkansas Infantry Regiment? I could find nothing in the combined service records on this guy.
