I, too, am interested in the 10th Ark. Inf. My Great-Grandfather was in Co. D.: Kinchen Baxter Foster 2nd Lieutenant, captured at Port Hudson and sent to Johnson's Island.
I am especially in Capt. J. T. Foster and his relation to K.B.. No mention is made of him after Port Hudson. Was he killed there?
