I am interested in an incident that occurred during a `scout` from Pine Bluff to Monticello, March 34,1865. The union officer in command was Capt.John H. Norris. He captured my Grandfather, John. B. Manion, and ten others.

The thing I want to know is if these eleven men were actually part of a unit which is referred to on page 409 of John Edwards` book "Shelby And His men" as Magruders `Secret Corps`. This unit was commanded by a particularly colorful individual, Capt. Arthur McCoy.

I am aware that you may not have specific knowledge of these facts and incidents, but maybe you can furnish me with Email addresses of people who may be able to help me.
